Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we collect and use your personal data when you use dental-cabinets.co.uk, including the surgery configurator and our enquiry forms. Please read it alongside our Terms.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Paneltech Industries Ltd ("we", "us"), trading as dental-cabinets.co.uk.

2. What we collect
- Contact details you give us — name, email address, phone number, and your practice / company name and address.
- Your enquiry & design information — the messages you send, the surgery layout you build in the configurator (room, cabinetry, equipment, finishes) and any project notes.
- Technical data — basic information your browser sends (e.g. IP address) which our server may log for security and to operate rate-limiting. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
3. How we use it, and our legal basis

We only send marketing if you have asked us to or otherwise agreed; you can opt out at any time.
4. The configurator & saved designs
When you save a design we store it and email you a private link of the form
/configurator?load=…. That link is unguessable but is not password protected, so
anyone you share it with can open the design. Keep it private if your layout is sensitive. You can ask us
to delete a saved design at any time (see "Your rights").
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of trusted suppliers ("processors") who handle data only on our instructions:

These providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum or adequacy) apply. We may also disclose data where legally required.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and saved designs for up to 24 months after your last contact, then delete them, unless we need to keep them longer for a live project or to meet legal obligations.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email sales@paneltech.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to help first.
8. Cookies & analytics
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, so no cookie banner is required. The configurator may keep a small amount of information in your browser purely to make the tool work.
To understand how the site is used we employ Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service that sets no cookies and does not track or profile individuals — it gives us aggregate counts such as page views and referrers. We also keep our own aggregate usage counts (for example how many rooms are designed per day) which contain no personal information: any technical identifier used to estimate visitor numbers is anonymised and discarded daily and cannot be linked back to you.

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date shows the latest version.
